Is your rigid mesh fencing too short? Do you need to adapt your fence to a specific type of terrain? Or perhaps to repair an existing fence? There are many reasons why you might need to connect rolls of mesh fencing.
Materials, steps to follow… We explain!
To do this, you will need…
- Fixing pliers or cutting pliers
- Binding wires or staples
- Connectors or connecting accessories (these are usually supplied with the mesh fencing)

Steps to Follow
- Position the panels: Place the two ends of the mesh panels to be connected side by side and ensure they are properly aligned to avoid any misalignment.
- Overlap the horizontal wires: We recommend slightly overlapping the horizontal wires of the two panels to reinforce the joint.
- Fixing with binding wires:
- Use galvanized steel wires or special fence ties.
- Wrap the wires around the connection points (where the panels overlap), tightening them firmly with pliers.
- Use special connectors: If your mesh fencing comes with clips or connectors, use them to join the two panels. Attach them to the horizontal wires and tighten them with pliers.
- Reinforce the connection points: Ensure that the panels are securely fixed and that there is no play between them. Do not hesitate to add additional fixing points for better solidity.
And to go further…
Ensure that both panels are straight and correctly aligned to prevent the connection from being visible.
If the panels are subject to significant tension (as is the case, for example, with a high fence), consider adding additional posts at the junction of your rigid mesh fencing to gain stability.
This will ensure a solid and durable connection.
