This summer, enjoy your swim in complete safety! In this article, Districlos explains the regulations regarding the installation of safety devices for your private swimming pool.
Pool Safety Standards: are you affected?
Do you own a private swimming pool with a basin that is fully or partially inground? If so, you must comply with the strict regulations provided by law to secure your pool and thus prevent drowning risks.
Whether your pool is for individual or collective use, located at your family home, in a residence, a hotel, or even a campsite, it is very important to comply with AFNOR standards (French Standardization Association).
Please note, if you do not comply with the current standards, you risk a fine of up to €45,000!
However, you are not affected by these standards if you own an above-ground pool.
Requirements of the NF P90-306 standard?
Good news, Districlos offers protective fencing compliant with the NF P90-306 requirement to secure your pool!
To be compliant, your protective barrier must:
- Measure more than 1.10 meters high
- Have an effective locking system; indeed, the Districlos locking system does not allow a child to access the pool freely and thus reach the basin unsupervised.
- Not have horizontal mesh that could serve as a foothold for a child to climb the fence.
Our ranges of regulatory pool fences?
With Districlos, there is no need to worry! All our protective barriers comply with these rules.
All that remains is for you to choose your favorite fence according to your taste:
- Simplicity and style with our “rigid” fencing and gates
- Transparency and elegance with our “mesh” fencing and gates
Note: Districlos pool fences adapt to all types of ground (slabs, floating slabs, open ground, wooden decks, etc.)
