II – Our expert advice
Regarding the installation of rigid mesh fencing, flexible mesh fencing, or privacy screening, we have published an assembly manual available here:
DISTRICLOS Assembly Manual
In addition to the installation manual, we have focused specifically on rigid mesh fencing in this article.
We have listed a few tips to help you avoid common recurring issues:

- Use a chalk line to help you mark a straight line when measuring the distance between the fence holes.
- For rigid mesh fencing, it is best to dig holes between 25 cm and 45 cm deep/wide (this varies depending on the post size).
- For installation on base plates, ensure that the anchor bolts are properly anchored. Especially if you intend to install a privacy screen on your fence!
- You must check the vertical and horizontal levels as often as possible.
- If you are installing a fabric privacy screen or an artificial hedge, do not be shy with the staples! Staple as much as possible, while maintaining regular spacing between them.
- The concrete you pour into the post hole must not be too liquid. A slightly thick concrete will make installation easier!
- Our “H” posts have notches along their entire height. If you are not comfortable with assembly blocks (designed for installing rigid panels in the ground), you can pinch the top and bottom notches so that the panel stays in place while being tensioned.
