When selecting your T-post, start by choosing the height of your fence. Your T-post should always be taller than the fence itself. For example, if your fence is 5 ft high, choose a 6.5 ft post.
The T35 post featured here is ideal for fence heights between 6.5 ft and 8 ft. The taller your fence, the sturdier your post should be.

How to install a T-post

First, mark the locations for your T-posts, spacing them every 8 ft. Dig holes 8" x 8" wide and 12" deep. Set the posts in concrete and allow to cure. For extra stability, we recommend adding bracing posts with dedicated bolts. If you're mounting on a wall or concrete base, use a T-post base plate for secure installation.
