When selecting your T-post, start by determining the height of your fence mesh. The T-post should always be taller than your fence. For example, if your fence is 5 ft high, choose a 6.5 ft post.
The T30 post featured here is ideal for fence heights between 4 ft and 6.5 ft. The taller your fence, the sturdier your post should be.

How to install a T-post
First, mark out where your T-posts will go—spacing them every 8 ft is recommended. Dig holes 8" x 8" wide and 12" deep. Set the posts in concrete and allow it to cure. For extra stability, use bracing posts with dedicated bolts. If you're mounting on a wall or concrete, use a base plate for T-posts for secure installation.
