Lock Cover for Aluminum Gate

The lock cover is used to neatly close off the holes left behind after removing the lock and handle when automating your gate. This helps prevent unsightly openings on your aluminum gate and ensures a clean, finished look. The cover attaches easily on both sides of the post to fully conceal the old lock locations that are no longer needed.

First, remove the existing lock and handle from your gate. Then, place both sides of the lock cover on either side of the aluminum post to conceal the cutouts. Secure everything using the screws provided in the kit, tightening them gradually to ensure a firm hold without damaging the material.

For each gate, you only need to order one kit. Each kit includes both parts required for a complete installation. This will cover both the inside and outside of the post, fully concealing any previous lock openings on your aluminum gate.

The lock cover fits most aluminum gates on the market, whether they are swing or sliding models. Its universal design is made to cover standard lock cutouts, with dimensions that match typical gate configurations. For some specific gate models, we recommend checking the measurements before ordering to ensure a proper fit for your setup.

You can choose to keep your existing lock when automating your aluminum gate. To do this, simply remove the latch bolt to allow for automatic operation, while keeping the handle and cylinder in place. If you prefer a cleaner look without a lock, you can remove it entirely and cover the opening with a lock cover plate.
