How to install your gate stop

Choose the right gate stop for your specific gate.
For swing gates, a tilting gate stop is recommended.
First, set the vertical part in the ground; the horizontal part will tilt. As you open the gate, the bottom edge presses down the tilting section, holding the gate in place. To release, simply use your foot to reset the moving part.
For sliding gates, install the stop directly on the track. Weld or screw it in place to slow the gate as it closes, helping to prevent damage.
