The clip system on this post allows for a range of installation options: set in concrete, mounted on a base plate, installed on uneven ground, or stepped for sloped areas. Unlike the notched post, the clip post lets you adjust the height of your fence panels for custom layouts, including stair-step installations. With no notches, the post offers enhanced strength and makes installation straightforward. Its galvanized steel finish provides excellent weather resistance, ensuring your fence stands up to the elements over time. Easy to install, it works with standard rigid mesh panels, double-wire panels, and can be used with concrete or steel base panels. Compatible accessories include clips and a clip tool.

How to install a clip rigid mesh post

Note: The Tempo Clip post can handle angles up to 90°.
Start by setting your post in concrete or mounting it with a base plate. Attach your first rigid mesh panel to the groove using the clips. For metal clips, use a pair of pliers; for plastic clips, simply snap them in place. Position the clips at the folds to keep the panel at the correct height, then secure the next post. Repeat these steps until your fence is complete.

What is the difference between a clip post and a slotted post? +

Clip posts use metal clips to secure the fence panels, allowing for precise height adjustment. Slotted posts have grooves where the panels fit directly. Clip posts provide more flexibility for stepped installations and make panel replacement easier. Slotted posts offer a simpler installation with fixed positions every 4 inches.
